£75.00

6  original Film transparencies from Comedy of Terrors

The Comedy of Terrors (1963) is an American International Pictures horror comedy film directed by Jacques Tourneur and starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, and (in a cameo) Joe E. Brown in his final film appearance. The film also features Orangey the cat, billed as “Rhubarb the Cat”. It is a blend of comedy and horror which features several cast members from Tales of Terror, made by AIP the year before

Waldo Trumbull (Vincent Price) is an amoral undertaker in 19th-century New England who takes to murdering people to have enough cash to support his drinking habit. Desperate for money after a widow stiffs him for a burial, Trumbull and his assistant, Gillie (Peter Lorre), decide to kill the wealthy Mr. Black (Basil Rathbone), their landlord, to whom they’re indebted. But murdering Black proves to be quite a challenge, as he seems to keep recovering from death every time they do him in.

These Museum quality items are part of the Shoot That Tiger Studio Archive.
They were likely in archive for a potential re-release of a book or film on VHS or DVD and would have  been used for  cover and internal artwork.

The award winning studio was resposible for producing some of the most iconic Album and single covers and associated promotional items for the 70s 80s and 90s.
Part of that archive is now available to buy.
