Prince and the Revolution, Paisley Park Original Production Artwork For the full page NME Advertisement 1985 measuring approx 18×15″ The Only One In Existence
This is the original Production artwork for Prince’s single advertisement including all Paste-ups photo mechanical transfers and overlays on the original art board. It was used to create the full page advertisement for Paisley Park on 7 and 12 inch singles. The artworks were normally discarded as soon as they were used but this relic has managed to survive the past 36 years making it extremely rare and a real collectable conversation piece.
An original 1985 advert is also included with this alongside the original artwork which has been framed and glazed. Production artwork is the rarest oil media as it was normally discarded once the work had been approved. It is the origin of all subsequent proofs and ultimately the finished printed product. In the digital age these ceased to exist from the 1990s making them extremely rare and sought after pieces of original pop art. With a hand signed letter from the curator of Pop Nouveau Gallery confirming the authenticity of the artwork.
