Released 36 years ago, it comes with the studio file proof of the finished cover. It is on the original art-board including all paste-ups, Photo mechanical transfers and original handwritten production notes. It is likely that the two overlays on the artwork, which also has no barcode at this stage, probably had the barcode on. The file copy proof of the artwork also has a bar code and a different layout for catalogue numbers and logos.
The artwork Measures approx. 13×11 inches
Both items are framed together.
Production artwork is the rarest of all media and in the modern digital world these artworks no longer exist. it is the origin of all subsequent proofs and ultimately the finished product. The design would likely be altered before production making these versions rare and unreleased.
With a hand signed letter of authenticity from the owner of Shoot That Tiger Art Studio responsible for creating art work for Phil Collins.
Pop Nouveau Gallery have thoroughly examined the artwork and are in no doubt over its authenticity.
