An extremely rare Ltd Edition Print of the PET SHOP BOYS for the single Cover of Always On My Mind The photograph was commissioned by the band’s record company for the single cover for Always on My Mind. Taken by Eric Watson in 1988 the prints were to be given to record company executives as gifts. If you think Neil and Chris look miserable in the photograph you’re right. They refused to sign the image and all of the prints were retained and never given out. Exactly 100 proofs of the image were then retained at the studio and are therefore extremely rare measuring 21.5 ins ( 545 mm ) by 21.5 ins ( 545 mm ) These Museum quality prints are the only ones in existence and are From the Shoot That Tiger Archive.Proof artwork is rare, normally only a handful were produced for approval. 2 additional rare Cromalin proofs were also made, they were normally only made once due to the prohibitive cost. Some never made it past the drawing board making them very rare. In the digital age they hardly exist making proofs like this very sought after. With a hand-signed letter of authentication from the owner of the art studio commissioned to produce the artwork. Each print has the Shoot That Tiger Studio stamp.
