In 2015 V Festival Artist James Wilkinson asked, for the second succesive year, the performers at the V Festival to join him in his artistic pursuits and draw their own self portraits which he called Self V’s . In the previous year the likes of Ed Sheeran had himself joined this group and produced a sixty second self V which when sold at a Fame Bureau auction achieved £2000.00 which helped the local Children’s hospice. In total the Self Vs from the likes of Ed, james Bay, James Arthur, Sam Smith, Craiig david Mark Ronson and so many more have raised over £20,000 for local charities. Some of these are still available to buy. James Bay created 5 individual drawings for the Self V project. His own portrait, a drawing of his trademark hat, A Dj at his decks, A guitar and this one, a paintbrush and palette. The drawing which is silver sharpie on tissue paper, has been expertly mounte with a special edition print  James Bay’s  offcial V Festival Portrait and a photograph of him creating the drawing. Framed and glazed it measures approx 20x20x3 inches. Celebrity art is becoming increasingly sought after.  james Wilkinson has made a lifetime artistic pursuit of collaboartions with Rock Stars.
