Universally acclaimed as one of his greatest compositions this unique and extremely rare handwritten sheet music must rank as one of the rarest Beatle Items currently available to purchase. The song was composed by Harrison in 1968 and included on the white album. Here, on the sheet music paper George has written out the chord structures and lyrics. George’s former wife Patti Boyd remembers George doing this shortly before the concert for Bangladesh in 1971.
The history for the sheet music is as follows. Genesis publications were working another book for George and George bought this sheet music into the office for the project George Live in Japan. It was left at the printers and George never returned for it. While he was at the office he autographed one of the printer’s proof pages for the book. When the printing company closed down these items became available. A very rare and historical artifact and itself a pice of popular culture. A museum quality piece of Art Nouveau.
It also come with a letter explaining the full details from the recipient.
The Fame Bureau have studied the handwriting and signature and have no doubt over the authenticity of the item.
