Coloured pencil on watercolour paper, the portrait was annotated with lyrics from one of Pitney’s biggest hits Something’s Gotta hold of my Heart and signed in black ink, by the singer, when Pitney and Wilkinson met at the BBC studios in London in the early to mid 1980s.
