An Original Proof for the 7″ single for Gen X dancing with Myself.

Released in 1980 on Chrysalis Records serial  –  CHS 2444

A full uncut proof artwork for the cover of the 7 inCh vinyl single mounted with a signed colour 8×10 publicity photograph of Billy Idol in leather bondage gear. signed boldly in blue marker and authenticated by The Fame Bureau.

Proof artwork is rare. Generally only a handful of proofs were created for approval by the record company, artist’s management and/or artist to approve before committing to print. In the digital age these no longer exist, this proof is 41 years old and came from the Shoot That Tiger Art Studio who were commissioned to produce the artwork for Chrysalis. 

Measuring approximately 19×20.5 inches the  items are on black mount board.  

The artwork comes with a hand signed letter of authenticity from the owner of Shoot That Tiger and The Fame Bureau who have been entrusted with the archive of the studio.
