DAVID BOWIE Rare Europe Under Pressure  Proof 1987

In 1987 David Bowie Embarked on his biggest ever tour. A Press Tour was arranged to precede the concerts and David Bowie Commissioned a documentary to be made of that Press Tour called Europe Under Pressure. He commissioned award winning art studio Shoot That Tiger to produce the documentary and an accompanying set of Limited edition brochures about that press tour.

The Brochures were meant for execs within the media but hardly any made it out and those that did were opened. The sealed booklets remained with the art studio and so did all the proofs .

Around 25 proofs were produced for each spread in the brochure and 1 very rare cromalin proof for each spread too.

remember these were specifically commissioned by Bowie himself .

These have been unseen and untouched for 30 years.

Extremely Rare 1st generation single Sided Proof for two pages of the Bowie Commissioned Europe Under Pressure Booklet measuring approx 26×19” .
In the digital age they are non existant and as such these are becoming very collectable, also because many of the proofs were rejected making them unique.

Each of the  proofs will be individually numbered,stamped and signed on verso to correspond with the archive records.

with a signed letter from the art studio owner who produced the book for David Bowie, confirming its authenticity.
